Good morning, everyone!

The Guise Book is now fully available in all of the places! Get it at your friendly local gaming store! Buy the physical copy from our webstore! Pick up the PDF from DriveThruRPG! Pick any number of places to obtain this slice of SCRPG!

Also, Adam and I released an episode of our Sentinel Comics podcast — The Letters Page — in which we tell a story from the (totally real) comic book "Neighborhood Watch". Pretty much everything we talk about in that episode is from, or at least related to, The Guise Book. You can listen to the episode here, or in a podcast app of your choice!

Finally, the History of Sentinel Comics book is still coming along, with art from both Adam himself, as well as other fantastic artists who we're excited to work with!

You may have seen this art before, as it's another show-stopper from the talented Storn Cook, but in the "collecting art together for this book" process, I ran across it again and was reminded just how much I love it!

This time next month, I'll be in the UK for the UK Game Expo! Will you be there? Come say hi! Greater Than Games will be doing a bunch of fun stuff all week at the show. We're in Booth #1-852, which is located on the aptly named "Greater Than Games Street"!

Still Making Progress PLUS Starter Kit Revamp!

Hey, folks!

Sorry about this update being a day late — yesterday was a busy day of catching up in office and this slipped through the cracks BUT that means you get a little extra info that was decided this very morning!

I'm busy at work on the text of the History of Sentinel Comics book, and Adam is doing a bunch of great new old-seeming art for it (as well as new new-seeming art, as well!), but we've also got the graphic design/layout folks working on the SCRPG Starter Kit! Wait, isn't that a thing that's been out for years? You are correct! It came out a couple years before the SCRPG Core Rulebook, and it shows. Some stat blocks are outdated, the villain sheets are virtually non-existent, and the flow of information and layout is not up to the standard of how well the core rulebook turned out. It recently went out-of-print, but frankly, it would be irresponsible of us to reprint it as it was originally released. So! We're updating it across the board, cleaning up a lot of things, and remaking it in the vision of how SCRPG stuff is done these days!

What does this mean for all of you? Well, it shouldn't mean much, right? That product wasn't part of this Kickstarter... and yet, we want you all to have access to it! So, given your patience and support with everything we're making here, we're going to send the complete PDFs of the new and improved SCRPG Starter Kit to ALL backers of this Kickstarter! We're still breaking ground on the updates to the Starter Kit, but we wanted to let you know that you'll be getting those PDFs sometime this year, while we're still working on the History book and many other SCRPG things, as well!

The Guise Book is OUT!

Good morning, Sentinels fans!

We are very excited! I posted an update a couple weeks ago that we'd just gotten the first The Guise Books in hand, and now they're already en route to you! Many of you have likely received it already, in fact! Anyone still waiting on it: give it at least a week or two to make its way to you before hitting the panic button. That said, if you ordered The Guise Book and don't have it in hand by the end of this month, definitely reach out to us at [email protected] so we can get you your sweet sweet Guise book.

Whew! With the reports we were getting from the book printers about their stock of paper and availability of print time, I was concerned it was going to be another couple months, but it's great to be rolling again! Plus, this gives us an opportunity to talk to them about how to shore things up for future books we're making. Silver linings, and all that.

OK! See you next month with progress updates on more books! Keep up the heroics, everyone!

No News is Good News?

Good morning!

I don't have "no news", but the news I have from the printer is "things are still delayed, there's a huge paper shortage, too — this will take at least another couple weeks, and it's also going to cost more than we originally quoted you." So, that's not fun. Good news for you: this will cost you nothing more! Just still waiting.

Adam and I are working on History of Sentinel Comics stuff, so that's good news. And I'll be spinning up at least one more SCRPG book with Dave this year (hoping for two more, but so much is still in flux). Oh, and we're out of print on the Starter Kit, so we've gotta remake that and fix the outdated character sheets in it, especially the Villain stuff. If you've seen it and also seen the core rulebook, you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, point is, wheels are still turning over here! Bear with us!
