Hey, everyone!

A week ago, I was feeling salty that I still hadn't heard anything definitive from the printer. I know everything is running behind this year for So Many Reasons, and yes, I definitely want the printer to be prioritizing the healthy and safety of its workers, so the printing, packing, and shipping process takes longer than anticipated... but I want those books now! I want them in my grubby little hands!

And then! Our warehouse team got a call YESTERDAY: the books are in route and will arrive some time this week! HOORAY! We've already got everything in place in the warehouse to get those books turned around so fast. Once we have everything received, we anticipate the entire packing and shipping process on our end taking 2-3 weeks, tops. 

Bonus: for social distancing purposes, the packing and shipping will be done by a classic, throwback, OG GTG team: me and Paul! Jodie, Matt, and the rest of the fantastic warehouse team is swamped with a ton of seasonal warehouse tasks, but Paul and I still have some tricks up our sleeves. That's right: we know how to put stuff in boxes and put labels (that Jodie printed out for us in advance) on those boxes. Pretty cool, right? Yeah, we're a pretty big deal.

Oh right! I mentioned a live stream in the title! Tomorrow morning (which is Wednesday, December 2nd), I'll be doing YET ANOTHER livestream on the GTG YouTube channel at 10 AM, Central time! If you missed the last livestream, too bad! That was a good time. Here's how that went:

This one will be showing off the book sample that I finally did receive (and if the books show up this afternoon or early tomorrow morning, I'll swing by the warehouse and grab one of those as well, but don't hold your breath - that would be a long time to hold your breath). I anticipate this livestream going a bit quicker, but I'll still take questions and all that. Just figured I'd share what I have in hand with you fine folks. So! I'll do an update tomorrow morning with a link an hourish before the livestream starts. I hope to "see" a bunch of you then/there!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Sorry about the late update today. I ended up very in the weeds on a series of projects, both related and unrelated to this campaign - so many plates spinning!

Just a follow-up reminder from Maggie's update last week: today is the last day to update your addresses! Get them in! If you haven't done so, e-mail [email protected] as soon as possible! 

I'm still waiting on final word from the printer, but with the holiday upon us, I know things are running a bit more slowly in general. I'll share news with you as soon as I have it. We're working on the finishing touches on the fancy PDF of the Core Rulebook, including a number of tweaks based on feedback from you fantastic folks. Good news: due to popular demand, we're going to offer both a "streamlined" version of the PDF that is easy to open, read, and navigate, and also a "beefy" version that is quite large, high-res, and likely to grind some processors to a halt. Enjoy! We'll have that ready soon after this holiday week is wrapped up and the graphic design team are back in action.

Finally, I hope you all have a chance this week to take a break, reach out to the people you care about, and remember the things we have to be thankful for. I know this year has been mostly Red Zone, and that's a lot, but this is a good time to recover. Maybe have a quick montage scene to connect with your fellow heroes. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I'm thankful for all of you, and that I hope you are all doing well.

Livestream today!

Printing moving along! Unboxing and AMA Livestream next Tuesday!

Hello, everyone!

Christopher here with yet another update! You're all going to be sick of me by the end of this month!

We got word at the end of last week from the printing facility that production is moving swiftly along! They needed info from us about what should go on all the packing and shipping cartons, which is good news. That means things should be moving very soon! They're also sending us some of the books off the printing line, so we should have those in hand sometime this week. So, as a result...

A Livestream!

Next Tuesday, November 17th, I'll be doing a livestream on our YouTube channel at 10 AM, Central time. What is the purpose of this livestream? Why, it's specifically for you! I will 100% be opening my first copy of the SCRPG GM Kit and Dice Set, and I'll almost certainly have the coloring book and Off the Rails one-shot adventure, as well. And! If everything the printer has told us is true, I should have the SCRPG Core Rulebook! I'll also answer any questions in chat, provided you don't ask the Forbidden Question. What? No, I can't tell you what it is. I've said too much already.
